Life Class on 7 habits and love

The constant pursuit of a perfect life I yearned for was a never-ending competition filled with uncertainties and doubts. However, everything changed when I attended a life class focused on the 7 habits and love, which transformed my perspective completely. I learned the distinction between responding and reacting, enabling me to express myself more calmly and with fewer conflicts. The session charged up my already proactive nature. The concepts of the Circle of Concern and Circle of Influence helped me focus on what truly matters. “Begin with the end in mind” provided insight into having a vision and mission in life. Additionally, “Principle-Centeredness” emphasized that everything can be managed without sacrificing one’s priorities. Learning to “Put first things first” and understanding the importance of an “emotional bank account” were both immensely helpful as well.

Well conducted session by Ravi Sir and Vaishali ma’am.

Experience of life class

I have heard a lot about the life class, and it was truly an enriching experience. I am immensely grateful to Utsav Sir and Wilmot Sir for providing us with such a precious opportunity.
Over the past two days, I had the incredible chance to immerse myself in a life class centered around the renowned “Seven Habits.” Guided by these principles, I underwent a profound transformation that I couldn’t have anticipated. The first habit, “Be Proactive,” set the stage for the entire experience. I realized that I held more power over my life than I had previously acknowledged.”Begin with the end in mind” served as my compass, reminding me to set clear intentions for each day and long-term aspirations for my life. This clarity brought a newfound sense of purpose and motivation. Moreover, “Put first things first” helped me prioritize tasks that aligned with my goals, reducing distractions and allowing me to focus on what truly mattered.
Key moments for me during the life class on days 1-2 include Utsav Sir’s compelling drama about father, Wilmot Sir’s captivating story-sharing, and the unexpected emergency singing session.
The life class provided an environment where we could learn and grow, surrounded by supportive mentors and engaging activities. It was a journey of self-discovery and personal development that I will cherish forever. These invaluable lessons and experiences will undoubtedly influence the way I approach life and make decisions in the future

Reflecting on 7 Habits & Love Day 1 and 2 (Delta)

I enjoyed it a lot and learned how important those things are, which were of the least concern for us. It was fun learning, the facilitators made it more engaging and involving, they said us their personal life experiences which built trust and we made a good connection with them. It felt like in the race of our lives we took a pause and shared moments of happiness and sorrow with each other. The group was also very participative where everyone was giving their input. I am looking forward to more such ‘Life classes’. Thanks to Utsav sir and Wilmot sir for making it so special.

Seven Habits and Love -Gamma Session 1& 2 2023-24

To begin with, I had heard alot about LIFE CLASSES during my training period about how these classes have changed their perspective or way of thinking . Which always made me wonder how this can actually be possible ? How can only sharing change your thought process ? ……But YES, I can say that now, it actually happened.

In this class, I learned that proactive language can make positive changes in your behavior and  it actually makes you feel powerful by taking charge of your life.

Another important thing that I learned is a Paradigm shift. It occurs when you change your perspective about something to understand other persons’ situations.

I have read about 7 habits but I learnt implementation during life classes : TO BE PROACTIVE, TO BEGIN WITH END IN MIND, TO PUT FIRST THING FIRST. And also how these habits can bring positive changes in your personal as well as professional life.

7 Habits-Love and Gamma-day 1 & 2

Firstly I would like to thank my Facilitator’s for putting in so much time and effort and to make things look simple and easy.
The class began with the definition of “what perfect life means to me”. My way of looking at things have changed to a certain point and my reaction towards it .We spoke about our mission and vision towards life .And the best part was how people would react for your  obituary.
I feel more confident and control towards my life and I am extremely grateful for this incredible experience and looking forward to learn more .

7 Habits & Love (Day 1 & Day 2)

A perfect picture of ‘Perfect Life’ and what’s stopping me from it.

“trust no future, however pleasant! Let the dead past bury its dead!” live in present!! no past & no future

As Past is history and Future is mystery but Present is gift so enjoy!!

Primary Greatness Character, Value, Morals

Secondary Greatness Money, Position, Respect, Image, Popularity

Secondary greatness is important but not at the cost of Primary greatness.

The way we see the world is as if all the problem we face is all because of others but we never see their end of things maybe sometimes their story is way beyond our imagination we just need to be calm and either try to communicate may be the way of judging get changed.

Here we come with 1st habit  Be Proactive.

In any negative situation either we can react or we can respond.

we just need to take a pause is it really worth it, do our reaction will really change that situation if not than its better to just except it and respond accordingly.

Proactive people understand the we as a human, holds responsibility for our own lives. Its our own call whether to take initiative or responsibility for our life.

Then we came to know about Circle of Concern and Circle of Influence through which we come to know what actually we can control and what we cant as Swami Gopal Das said Birth, Death, and The Circumstances we face during life is not in our control what is there in our control is how we respond to this situations and what choices we make so we have to focus on solutions rather than complaining about problems.

Here we come with 2nd habit Begin With The End In Mind.

here we realise how things seems so small at the time of death what actually matter at time are the things we are least bothered about now.

Clarity about Vision and Mission and what actually they mean to us and how we should proceed. A clear idea of what type of person I am and around whom my life revolves and what kind of person i should be.

Principal Centered  to look at the balanced whole considering every factor and try to come up with best solution where no ones need is sacrificed.

it also states that whatever goal you make the end product should be there in mind as it is said that every winner wins twice 1st in mind and then in reality.

Here we come with 3rd habit Put First thing First

To achieve any goal you need to prioritise which work is to be done first and what is more important and these we have bifurcated into 3 things 1. Rock  2. Pebbles  3. Sand

  • Rocks are the task which are most important
  • Pebbles are the task which are important but its OK if it is delayed
  • Sands are the task which u can do in your free time

Then we came across the concept of Emotional Bank A/C

As in bank we deposit money and withdraw it same way in any relation we have to deposit (love, Compassion, understanding) and we withdraw (Complains, Fights and Blaming) and there should be balance between them only withdrawal leads to breakups.

Thanks Ravindra Agrawal and Vaishali Patel for this wonderful session

Reflection of my Life Class

Participating in Life Class based on Dr. Stephen Covey’s book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” has been a trans formative and eye-opening experience for me. The workshop focused on empowering individuals to develop their character and effectiveness in both personal and professional aspects of life. Here are some reflections on the key takeaways from the workshop:

Pro activity: One of the fundamental principles I learned was the importance of being proactive. Instead of being reactive to circumstances, the workshop emphasised taking initiative and responsibility for our own lives. Understanding that we have the power to choose our responses to events and situations was a powerful mindset shift.

Begin with the end in mind: Another significant concept discussed was starting with a clear vision of what we want to achieve in our lives. By setting long-term goals and aligning our actions with those goals, we can lead a purpose-driven life and avoid getting caught up in distractions.

Putting first things first: Time management and prioritisation were crucial aspects covered in the workshop. Dr. Covey’s Time Management Matrix, which categories tasks into quadrants based on urgency and importance, helped me identify areas where I could improve my productivity and focus on tasks that truly matter.

Think win-win: Learning about the win-win approach to interpersonal relationships was enlightening. Emphasising mutual benefit and cooperation rather than competition can lead to more sustainable and harmonious interactions with others.

Seek first to understand, then to be understood: Effective communication is a vital skill, and this habit stressed the importance of active listening and empathetic understanding before presenting our own ideas. This habit encouraged fostering a supportive and respectful environment in both personal and professional interactions

.Synergy: The concept of synergy taught during the workshop encouraged collaborative problem-solving and creative brainstorming. By valuing diverse perspectives and working together, we can achieve better outcomes than individual efforts.

Sharpen the saw: The final habit emphasised the significance of self-renewal and continuous improvement. Taking care of our physical, mental, and emotional well-being is essential to maintaining a sustainable and balanced lifestyle.Overall, the workshop based on “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” provided practical tools and insights that can be applied in various aspects of life. It highlighted the importance of character development, proactive behaviour, and fostering healthy relationships. I came away from the workshop feeling motivated to apply these habits to my daily life and work towards becoming a more effective and fulfilled individual.

Thank You

Fountainhead School and

Ravindra Agrawal and Vaishali Patel my Facilitators for the unforgetable learning implantation

7 Habits and Love (Gamma) – Day 1 & 2.

First of all I would like to thank the school and their vision that puts an emphasis on creating a holistic environment for all of it’s stakeholders. The past two days went away in a hurry of happiness and life long learning experience. The class began with ‘life’ – my definition of perfect life and what is stopping us from our perfect life. It infact, lead us to contemplate life and its meaning. The next major idea was on paradigm shift and how we as individuals view the world and hoipolloi. This led to our understanding on how we respond or react to the world and its people and inturn it affects our concerns and what we influence. Thinking about death made our eyes rain but lead us to define our mission. Talking about mission, we learned to set our priorities and think about what we really care for. Lastly, we got to know about emotional bank account and what it really means.
