storytelling day 3&4
In the session of the storytelling class, we delved deep into the concepts of Nav Ras (the nine emotions) and Bhaav (expressions of emotions), exploring how they resonate not only in our personal lives but also in storytelling. We learned that these elements serve as the emotional backbone of any narrative, allowing us to connect with our audience more authentically. We explored the impact emotions have on storytelling and how mastering the expression of these emotions can bring depth and life to our characters and plots. This was a transformative experience, as it opened our eyes to how nuanced emotions can be, and how they subtly influence the way stories are received and remembered.Additionally, through practical application, we created a drama that was centered around emotions and the navrash. This activity was instrumental in helping us put theory into practice, as we embodied different emotions, allowing us to understand how each Ras and Bhaav shapes the narrative.Overall, the experience was insightful, enhancing our storytelling skills and deepening our emotional intelligence, both as storytellers and individuals.
