Reflection on 7 Habits-Beta Life Class.

So what do I say about the life class experience which I had throughout the year with the best facilitators which I could ever ask for. I still remember the way I got comfortable with my life class group during the first ice breaking activity of the session only and how I managed to pour in my real life experiences in front of my group members without a second of doubt.

When I look back to the amazing journey I went through, I realize that all the sessions encouraged me to think critically about reviewing my life choices and my perspective. The 7 habits of highly effective people is helping me somewhere around the corner because the thing I was mostly struggling with was to put first things first and I could see a significant improvement in my quality of work in later part of the year when compared to term 1 of the academic year 2019-20.

The death activity, the letter writing activity, the beach activity, the potlucks, the laughs, the cries, the perspective sharing, the movie watching, the little things series, the dance breaks will always be the memories I will cherish forever. Thanks for the wonderful journey throughout.<3

7 Habits Beta

The first class started with getting to know each other. Each and every activity was very interesting and fun to do. It was a very beautiful learning experience. The habits were taken up in connection to the real life connections. The entire planning, venues and content along with surprises was done keeping in mind the life learning experiences for the participants. Practical based applications played a major role in the entire class. The facilitators Swati Ma’am and Varsha Ma’am did their best possible in all the sessions. They made a point that all participants gave their contribution in the activities and participated well. They kept motivating us all the time. They shared real life examples to keep the participants engaged and learn various things from the sharing experiences.

7 Habit Beta Class taught a lot of things that are important for personal as well as professional life.

We look forward to such wonderful times again 🙂

Integrity (Zeta) 2019-20

“One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others want you to be, rather than being yourself.”
― Shannon L. Alder

There is no doubt that the majority of people in the world are knowingly or unknowingly living a life which is not what they aspire for. A life driven and guided by someone else or may be to make someone or some people happy. This is a harsh reality and even if we ignore it, the bitter truth remains. Among all this chaos and hustle-bustle comes a breeze of fresh air in the form of life classes that we have in our school. It has been three years, we have been a part of these classes but we still feel butterflies in our stomach thinking about the next session. It’s not only the learning and new approach that we have acquired towards life through these sessions, but more than that it is the relationships that we have developed during the course that we cherish. We all are a part of Integrity class and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every session this year which began with the discussion of our prime thoughts and its possible effects in our lives. It was an eye opening session as we got to know the probable reasons of our certain behaviours which were unexplained earlier. We also discussed our personal and professional problems at great length and that was possible only because of the immense trust and respect that we have for everyone in the team. We listened to everyone patiently and analysed every problem critically and came to a unanimous conclusion so as to help everyone come out of any distressful situation they are in with a promise to follow it. But, alas the icing on the cake was the visit to the orphanage of differently abled which was a true realisation of why it is important to count your blessings. All the discussions and cribbing about our slightest discomfort in life looked so trivial in front of the challenges these people are facing. We spent a couple of hours with them and it was a pure joy to serve them or help them in whatever way we could. It was a lump in the throat moment to witness them savouring the simple meal or singing their favourite songs with panache. It was a moment of a lifetime and we left that place with a heavy heart and a promise to see them again. It is impossible to forget the lessons we learned and the camaraderie that we shared throughout the year and it will remain with us forever. I hope we continue to share the same bond and same members in the upcoming life classes next year with new goals, new insights and more wisdom.

Life class reflection

The journey of learning seven habits was exhilarating. I loved the part when we were sharing our experiences, including facilitators, which made me feel blessed to have such a wonderful life. Although I was following few habits but the sessions made it more explicit and provided new strategies to implement these habits in a more effective way. The engagements were very interactive but it could be more fruitful if we get more real life application. I enjoyed the beach visit and skill building sessions. Concluding, I would like to thank the facilitators for investing their time for my development.

Conquer my FEAR

FEAR has two meaning:-

Forget Everything And Run

OR

Face Everything And Rise

I choose second one and I succeed in that just because of my both facilitators (Sanjana ma’am and Aiymen ma’am) and my team members. I love the kind of people who help you expand your life, learn new things and grow consciously. My both facilitator did the same. After knowing my fear I realized that what you fear will not go away by constantly thinking , It will go away when you see it for exactly what it is.

This was life changing experience which needs lot of passions and control of my mind, that is quite difficult for me but I am doing it gradually I know I will overcome to it.

I must not fear, Fear is mind killer, I will face my fear, I will permit it to pass over me and through me, And when It has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain- By Frank Herbert.

Heartily Thanks to FS and both my facilitator to give me chance to change my life.

Integrity: A step to explore truth within self.

Life is all about learning from experiences and exploring our infinite options. Life gives us the opportunity to enhance our knowledge, grow, and make sure it is truly worth living. The integrity workshop this year really taught me to look deep within myself and reflect on who I am and want to be. Ultimately, we all want our choices to reflect our true self.

The most important lesson I have learned is to trust my instincts. The utmost satisfaction comes from knowing that I am the only one responsible for my own life. No one else can influence me or create my persona for me. Nor can they dictate what brings me happiness.

In fact, it is my job to define what constitutes my version of happiness. Life is best lived when we are truly happy ourselves. This is only possible after we overcome our fears.

It is easy to act fearless and mask our fears, but acknowledging them and being true to ourselves is the only way to confront, manage, and conquer the negative feelings they bring out in us. I am actively working to build a strong set of life skills that will help me confront my fears and allow me to live life to its full potential.

I want to thank my facilitators Bhargavi Ma’am, Kavita Ma’am, and contributors for an insightful and wonderful year. It’s been an honour!

Journey of knowing my fears…..

Our Integrity life class was based on the book –

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

– Susan Jeffers

During Integrity life class, I came to know about my hidden fears, some of which can be overcome whereas some are not in my hand…….This introsception has helped me to know myself better and be honest to myself which is the literal meaning of integrity.

One thing that I understood through the life class journey is….we all sail in the same boat and hence we should not be worried, instead live life to the fullest way possible.

I was enlightened after going to Civil hospital, introspecting oneself, everyone’s sharings and framing own mission statement.

Thankyou Ayman ma’am and Sanjana ma’am for being the torchbearers in my Integrity class journey.

Integrity self reflection.

Special thank you to Sanjana ma’am and Aymen ma’am. I was knowing about my fears but not knowing how to handle it or face it.  Used to Crib on what has happened and what will happen. This class has taught me to introspect myself at a deeper level. It has taught me to love your self, start accepting things, believe in yourself. Helped me in raising my confidence. Has helped me in making inform choices. Whether to crib of not having or putting efforts to make something. Helped me to look upon where have you reach. Stop self-pity. No one can help you. It is you who can be the change.

The power lies within you.

Integrity Class Reflection.

The journey which has begun 3 years back with life class till integrity has taught me a  lot…. What is life?? To live it the fullest love…. Love your self-love unconditionally love without exception, to lead better life one must follow integrity be honest with being scared. Accept your self and your surroundings the way it is. Overcome the fear be honest to yourself. Introspect and find the real you… All the sessions of integrity workshop was very helpful. I am sure whatever I have learned from this session will help me to have a happy and wonderful life. I would like to thank both the facilitators to facilitate the sessions.
