Life Classes – Day 3 & 4
The past two days of life classes were incredibly enjoyable. I’ll always cherish the joy and excitement we experienced on Day 4 while we were out in the field. It was a great way to tap into our competitive spirit while having fun. For any team to succeed, trust, strategic planning, and motivation to bring new solutions are essential.
One of our facilitators mentioned that working in teams helps us learn about our strengths and discover more about ourselves, and I wholeheartedly agree. It’s through our interactions with others that we gain deeper insights into our patterns and behaviours; we simply can’t function in isolation.
Revisiting the movie “Chak De! India” after such a long time also gave me many insights. It highlighted how the stories we tell ourselves about patriotism, nationalism, winning, and losing shape our behavior. The film emphasizes the importance of having a shared purpose to pursue a common goal, which can be quite challenging. As SRK’s character wisely states,
“Maine kaha tha na, team banane ke liye taakat nahi … niyat chahiye.”
I told you, to make a team you don’t need strength … you need intention.
Thank you for an amazing two days!
