Love class reflection
Love class has been an inspiring one! I have learned a lot from this class. The biggest thing I have learnt that Love is not a feeling but an action. I thank my facilitators for the same.

I am really thankful to Fountainhead school for conducting such type of classes. I learned a lot and shifted my paradigm for certain things.ya somewhere I felt difficult to bare some topics but however, it is a really nice experience. it teaches me that how to react and express my self effectively. it was one of the good experiment of my life as Ralph Waldo Emerson says “All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better” and also I have learned to except others perspectives and behaviour which make me more flexible and happy person as Joseph Campbell says “We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us”
Thank you
When I was signed up for the 7 Habits’ Life Class, I had no clue as to what was in store for me; all I remember is the exhilaration resembling that of a child’s, on his first day to school!
Saying that this class introduced me to ‘new’ habits to befriend wouldn’t be the best way to put it, as we have all directly or indirectly been acquainted with most of these in some or the other form (or the lack of these!) experientially. So I’d rather say that this allowed me to reflect on my own choices in life, by giving me space and time to introspect the difference between knowing and doing, for the challenge lies not merely in being aware, but in taking action (although that’s still a long way down the road!).
I wouldn’t deny the fact that this state of awareness allowed me to dig deeper into my own self, and crack my shell open just a tad bit, to sharpen my saw. In order to satiate the procrastinator in me, I had found a lot of important things piled up on my backseat. However, they’re slowly starting to take over, and for good (yay!). I wasn’t surprised to realise that being proactive would be the most difficult habit for me to adopt, considering how I am the most extreme case of procrastinator I could possibly imagine. Hence, I’m yet to find the motivation to kick myself out of bed and work on my physical well-being!
Needless to say, the experience wouldn’t have been the same without the support and guidance of our facilitators, Mitali ma’am and Tasnim ma’am who role-modeled the same at all times; after all, at FS we lead by example! We’re indebted to you for it all! 🙂
I am thankful to the Life Classes for introduce me to the 7 Habits. It has helped to manage the critical professional-personal life balance. We are so busy with our daily tasks that we never take a minute to think about what we are doing is worth the energies we are putting in it or not.
Learning the 7 Habits and also discussing about it in groups gives us the opportunity to share our ideas and learn better. The most important learning for me is “Seek first to understand and then be understood”. I found it always difficult to understand some people. But now I have realised that others can have different feelings, which I might not understand by I need to accept it first to come to a conclusion. I am now waiting for the next life classes to introduce me to new things in future.
I am glad that i got an opportunity to be a part of these life classes. It was an amazing experience which changed my point of view about many things in life. Talking about my experiences and listening to other’s experiences helped me gain a wider perceptive towards life.
Although i was aware of the 7 habits. life classes helped me understand the importance of these 7 habits in my real life.
Life classes also gave us the opportunity to introspect and understand how little changes in our daily schedule can work wonders for us.
At last I want to thank both the facilitators Ritu ma’am and Suruchi ma’am for motivating us and guiding us to make a choice of how we wish to explore our life keeping in mind these habits.

What matters in life is to create yourself and upgrade to the best of what you want to be. Life Classes surprisingly acts as a triggering point for both.
For me, the journey of life class is not something that can be completely expressed in words. It is a journey that changed me as a person. It helped me look at life in a new light altogether. It helped me introspect on my life and look at how I perceive things. Through this journey, I realised that I need to change the way I perceive things and react to them. It helped me broaden my horizon and look at things that needs improvement to better mt professional and personal life. It helped me realise that I need to change in order to see the change in my life.
I am truly grateful for getting the opportunity to learn and I will cherish this experience all my life.
It was an amazing journey of LIFE CLASS. I am very thankful to my facilitators – Ms. Suruchi ma’am and Ms. Ritu ma’am. Life classes have changed my perspective towards the people I meet. It helped me to understand what is more important in our life and where to focus. The paradigm shifts guided me to see the things in a positive way. Not just sharing the problems but also understanding them and getting ways to solve them was possible because of Life Class. I have discovered a new person in me that has helped me grow personally and professionally.
The actual meaning of all the habits and how to implement the same in our life was only possible because of these sessions. Only learning is not important but to implement the same to get a change makes a meaning . Life is an amazing journey so use every moment wisely .
I am very grateful to FS for conducting such sessions where we get opportunity to learn from our as well as others experiences. Looking forward for other such amazing sessions which will help me to discover myself and to see the world through different lens.
Had never thought of or even heard of life skills classes being conducted in a school for teachers and entire school staff. But, yes experienced the same at Fountainhead School. It was a wonderful journey.
I at times wonder what skills employers look for? I believe the skills that they are looking for are changing. Are we learning what we need to know? Not really…. But yes, I did at FS..
Below mentioned are my learnings from life classes ‘The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People’:
I learned, we need to not only timely restore our selves in terms of knowledge but need to do the same spiritually as well.
I learned, to receive one has to give, but we should not forget to give to one own self.
I learned, fear is just in my brain.
I learned and strongly believe happiness comes from what energizes you, not from what others think about you.
I learned, the easier way becomes the harder way. One should embrace discomfort to grow, shun comfort.
I believe to create value we need collaboration more and not in competition.
I believe that ‘Self Awareness’ is the single most important skill that you can ever learn.
The skills that I learned in my life class journey are the appropriate guidance and support to develop myself as an individual.”

The 7 Habits Life Class has had a profound impact in my life. It has acquainted me with several critical perspectives I had not encountered before. A great deal of credit goes to the facilitators, Mrs. Ritu Khanna and Ms. Suruchi Arora, who have always made the classes interactive and informative. They have been very approachable for any query related to the Life Class and have always promptly reverted to them.
For me, the session on “Begin with the end in Mind” had a very profound bearing on my thought process. The activities associated with that class, especially the exercise on planning the activities 24 hours before death, made me realize that we have limited time in the world. We have so many unfinished dreams and desires we have to fulfill but we have very limited time to do so. It also taught me that I should live in the present moment and not worry too much about the past or the future. While it is necessary to plan for any emergency or change of situation, one should not devote too much of his or her energy in worrying about it. The session also made me realize that we as human beings should be more tolerant towards each other. We all make mistakes in life which may affect the decisions we make. However, I have learnt that we need to move on and overlook the faults of the person. In most cases, relationships suffer because people are unwilling to forgive each other because of their mistakes and by the time they realize that, it may have become a little late. So, my key takeaway from this session was that we need to live the moment and enjoy it to the fullest.
The session on “Synergy” was also very useful because it made me realize that we need to co-operate with each other despite our differences. Many times, in our lives, we encounter unfavorable situations where we have to accommodate the needs and expectations of the people around us. This often results in compromises which causes a rift between the team members. The learning for me was that if a person is good at creating synergy, he or she can survive through challenging situations. Having synergy makes me look at situations objectively and enables me to take decisions promptly. I have learnt to relegate my expectations to the backseat and work for the general benefit and progress of my team. This trait I feel has been noticed by many of my colleagues and I have received appreciation for the same.
Overall, it was a very fruitful experience attending the life class and I look forward to such opportunities in the future.
“You can’t be afraid of people willing to hurt you, ’cause if you fear life you’ll never live.” (Chester Bennington [1976-2017])
Life Classes!
I never thought that something can change my perspectives. I am a very emotional person and someone who has no control on her anger. I always used to react without analyzing the situation.
I would always be thankful to Fountainhead school for providing such a great platform. Life classes has changed me a lot. It has helped me become a better person. It helped me to deal with critical situations in life. It helped me become a better Listener. I think and react now. It helped me to a greater extent in my personal life as well.
I always used to feel guilty of working, leaving my 2 years old daughter in Day Care, But now I feel happy for her, I see her growing becoming more independent and active. I don’t feel sad or guilty any more.
A big THANK YOU to both our mentors Ms. Ritu Khanna and Ms. Suruchi Arrora for sharing their knowledge and understanding with us and helped us become a better person and teach us the ways in which we can deal with life.
It brought a positive change in my life.
With Gratitude,
Dimple Deshpande.
