Integrity- a way of life
“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” – Bob Marley
Integrity is a big word with even bigger implications for people of all ages. Integrity isn’t about being perfect. It’s about making the best effort. It’s about growth. It’s about being a better version of ourselves tomorrow than we were today. And it’s about doing what we need to do when we stray from the Character Road.
After attending integrity classes, it has made me delve deeper into my nature. I was able to identify and examine the fears which were embedded in. When people share their real life experiences it also helps us to deal with our problems thoughtfully. As educators it is of paramount importance to be a person of integrity as we are the role model for our students. When we value the learning process over a product, we’ll cultivate an ideal culture in which integrity interactions can thrive. The life we live, after all, is the lesson we teach.
Here is a self-created poem to sum up my Intriguing Integrity life class journey.
Integrity-a way of life
Ahh! the Integrity life class is near,
It helped me recognize my single fear,
But before I surmount over it with sanity,
Embrace each day with clarity,
By taking charge of the steering of my life,
Puts end to the people’s ‘What ifs and Buts’ strife,
Forge ahead with positive mindset,
Every sunset is another opportunity to reset,
Always believe in yourself as every dark cloud has a silver lining,
Make mindful choices in life’s every inning,
Aha! there will be sunshine after the rain and laughter after the pain,
This is what the journey of pain to power was and will forever remain.
