7 Habits – Alpha

The life class, and the group I landed in feels like a safe space to express my views, opinions, and even concerns a lot of times. From day 1, this has been a space of no judgement with each member respecting the stories of another.

While we all might know the habits that we learnt in the life class, what helped most is that our concerns could be categorized and evaluated individually as and when we went through each habit. The mentors and team members always made sure that no concern was disregarded as too small or unimportant which gave everyone the opportunity to express themselves freely, and be vulnerable without hesitation.

The life class itself has been a great place to unwind, break the routine, meet people other than your team members, and space out from the mundane.

Our facilitators – Rashida ma’am and Jimmy ma’am also made sure that everyone had the chance to speak. While they focused on the agenda during the sessions, they also let our thoughts flow, and never stopped us from expressing ourselves, which further fueled our learning experiences. We learnt from people’s stories of distress and coping. We learnt from each other.

I didn’t really know what I could expect from these classes, but it has been a great journey and I couldn’t have asked for a better team than this.

7 Habits- Gamma

The session was about having and making choices at every step in your life. I also learnt about the importance of living a balanced life. The emotional bank account helped me personally. I wrote a letter to mend things since I self-introspected and found that a lot of things were under my control. Working and thinking about the case study helped in critically analyzing, evaluating and exploring new avenues.

7 habits alpha – Reflection

I had a wonderful experience with life class on 7 habits. I was really enjoying each day of life class.

These are the days where you open your hearts out with wonderful people, to share and to learn from each other.

The learning that we take in life class, really helped me in my personal life as well as professional life. I can also see the change in the way i think because of the learnings in the life class. This helped me to become a better person.

I would also like to thank Rashida ma’am and jimmy ma’am for being amazing facilitators.

7 Habits Alpha

It was a great experience and I enjoyed each session of life class facilitated by Jimmi ma’am and Rashida ma’am. I experienced all the practical learning of the book by life class. Every time I hear the word proactive, my mind automatically associate it with planning and preparing. It’s funny how the chapter opened literally with an end. Imagine your funeral and what others there are saying and thinking about you. What do you want them to say about you? This leads to something that I consider really meaningful. Doing play of different activity was a amazing part of the life class. I am looking forward for the same experience in all further life class.

One of the best thing I found in FS is offering life class for the staffs. I really like to take this opportunity to thank the school management for offering such important development training for professional and  personal growth. The7 habits life class helped me to define my personal vision and goals clearly. I have started see things in new perspection with more positive inforcement. Through this class, I have developed and refined my skills and build more values and quality to reach my potential. As learning and development is an on going process, I would love to attend more such classes to refine myself in all the way.

Gratitude! Gratitude! Gratitude!

The first thing that comes in my mind when I think about life class is ‘Gratitude’. Being grateful for even the smallest things in your life. There are so many things in our day- to- day life which is either taken for granted or is left unsaid. In our hectic schedule, we sometimes miss on expressing our emotions to our near and dear ones (making that small deposits into our EBA). Life classes have helped me to pour my heart out and be grateful for each and every moment of my life.

7 Habits Alpha – My Journey

The life class journey which I entered after joining Fountainhead school definately changed my life in a positive way. I came across many new people and got connected to them at the very first day. Our facilitators Rashida Golwala ma’am & Jimmi Lineswala ma’am are so cool and energetic, so never felt any hesitation speaking to them. I wouldn’t have asked for a better facilitators than them. The habits taught in all these sessions are worthy and can make a very big difference in our lives if properly implemented. I loved the EBA ( Emotional Bank Account ) topic as it was so relatable and this is what will be important and required throughout our life. It strengthens any kind of relationship you have with anyone. The life class makes you learn a lot of new things in detail and helps you cope up in what you are lacking in. Every individual is different and every one has some goods and bads in them, this is where the 7 habits help us to make our good the best and our bad the better.

Each situation is an opportunity to do things differently to produce positive results.

It taught me the fundamental difference between things that are urgent and important and how to discern between the two.If you focus only on putting out fires and dealing with urgent things, then you’ll never be able to accomplish anything that is truly important.

And also it taught me when you are focused on the success of others more than or as much as your own success, it is a guaranteed success formula. You don’t claw your way to the top on the backs of others — you are carried there on their shoulders.

One change that i felt in me :-
“Suddenly I saw things differently, and because I saw differently, I thought differently, I felt differently, I behaved differently.”

Jeevan Varg – 7 Habits Alpha

At the beginning I was apprehensive, yet I came to the Life class session bearing in mind that this experience would be similar to visiting a therapist. The only difference would be, instead of a single therapist there would be more people listening to what I have to share. Truly I say to you, the journey by far has been wonderful and why. Because, I got to rediscover and forgive myself. It’s not just the sharing, but understanding and implementing that – it is Okay to say NO to something for your own peace of mind, everything is not under your control, it is good to be proactive and that beginning with the end in mind is the key to positive results (mostly). Remember to say THANK YOU and more importantly say your SORRY(s), well in time. I am truly grateful and pray (out to the #universe) that this experience & learning, should not come to an end 🙂

Lifeclass is something which I was in need and I feel my thirst of knowing different things, different values, different perspectives etc.. are now fulfilled after attending life class sessions at my favourite place i.e Fountainhead school.

I feel there are many things which an indivdual needs to update in themselves in order to grow as a person and in order to make life easy and to have peace of mind.  DAY 6 – SESSION – I learn how to be a good listener. Well it is well said – “Listening is an art where one should be the eyes and ears”. I feel we should strive to be good and empathetic listeners. There are so many problems and suffering each one of us going through in life.. What if we can extend our ears and yes it will cost nothing just to listen, listen to what they feel, listen to what they are going through.

May be in future we would be in their position, so…think.of it….
