Unvelining Unseen places – Day 5 and 6

Open minded (पूर्वाग्रहमुक्त)

I had a wonderful experience in this life class! I met such lovely people, and together we had so much fun while gaining insights into the fascinating Parsi culture. Their beliefs and rich history left a deep impression on me.

The trip offered a perfect opportunity to explore and unwind. I visited unique places like the Aviary and the fort for the first time—it was amazing to see such beautiful landmarks. And the beach! This time, instead of engaging in activities, I simply sat in silence, soaking in the peacefulness. It was an incredibly calming and refreshing experience.

Thank you for giving us the chance to explore a different culture and create such memorable moments!

The Nargol-Daman trip was fantastic and showed me a completely different side of Daman. The caretaker at Keku’s was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. However, it would be great if the facilitator could arrange better sleeping arrangements, as we had to reshuffle after placing our bags.

Udvada was an incredible experience—strolling through the streets, relaxing at the beach, and observing the unique Parsi houses was fascinating. Visiting the Aatash Behram was a highlight, where we learned about the significance of sandalwood in their offerings. The Parsi museum was equally captivating, giving us insights into the rich history and rituals of the Parsi community.

Exploring Daman from a new perspective was eye-opening. Seeing beautiful, exotic birds at the aviary was mesmerizing, and visiting the historic Daman fort added a touch of adventure to the trip.

The return journey was filled with laughter and fun, making it an unforgettable experience. A special thanks to the wonderful participants and facilitators who made this journey truly memorable.
