Storytelling

The beginning itself was such a hit, full of energy which gently pushed us to take off the under-confident layer of us. The activities planned were also quite engaging, it was light yet fruitful. Somewhere it has given us a whole new perspective to see the world. It kept us focused throughout. The story telling class was really worth attending and looking forward to attending the rest with the same enthusiasm.

Story Telling

The storytelling life class was truly interactive and enriching experience. Initially, the life class I wanted to join wasn’t available, so I opted for the storytelling class instead. It turned out to be an awesome and fruitful decision.

The class helped me open up in front of everyone, allowing me to share my thoughts and experiences more freely. Our facilitator put in outstanding effort to ensure we understood the minute details that need to be considered when framing a story. His dedication and passion were evident, making the learning process both engaging and enjoyable.

I thoroughly enjoyed both days of the class and am eagerly looking forward to more interactive sessions like this in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Story telling – Manish Tiwari

“Many stories matter. Stories have been used to dispossess and to malign. But stories can also be used to empower, and to humanize. Stories can break the dignity of a people. But stories can also repair that broken dignity.” – Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, author

I choose Story telling so I could become better in presentation skills. My decision was correct. Story-telling: Amee Vyas

It’s not magic that takes us to another world. It’s story-telling.

Val Macdermid

I kept story-telling as the last option. But it turned out so nicely that now it makes me believe that this was the best decision to choose story-telling as life class. It provided me an opportunity to connect with my inner world and explore the new horizon of being expressive with confidence. During the life class, Sagar sir helped us to introspect and gave us the chance to tell our story in a unique way. I learned different technical aspects of story-making, like the 5 Ws, story structure, and what to observe and keep in mind while you are telling a story to the audience. After having these 2 days of story-telling, I decided to try the techniques which I learned to implement while telling story to my daughter. I could see her expressions were completely different from the previous time I used to tell her stories. This time she enjoyed much. She was more curious about listen to me. She was so invested in the story and eager to know the next steps. So yes, I look forward to more story-telling sessions. As I mentioned in the quote, this life class will take me to another world for sure.

Unveiling Unseen Places – Kaushal Sailor

First of all I am very happy to choose this life class. This will be a good and nice experience in our life.
First day : There were one activity to decode the some one password. We enjoyed it. I think the purpose of that activity is was to know the other person and his or her thinking. So it will connect you to each participants and you have that friendly zone. Second the nature walk in KG farm , I have not that much interest in the trees and plants but when i walked there in silent it was a very good experience for me as i found the real peace and me time for me.
Second day: We visited to Govindbhai Dholakia house. I liked the welcoming, breakfast, guashala visit, and the last the presentation of their journey till now. They are so down to earth and humble. I have seen the values in each and every person there. I also wanted to follow in my life.
Thank you so much priti ma’am and shalini ma’am.

A Dream Visit to the SRK Family Home

Today, I had an unforgettable visit to the Dholakia(Govind Laljibhai Dholakia) family home. The warm welcome we received was truly heartwarming. They served us a delicious breakfast of bhakhari, fafda chutney, patudi, sukhadi, mohanthal, and tea prepared on a traditional chula. We visited their goshala, played with cows, and saw the smallest cow in the world. Each cow responded to its name, showcasing their unique bond. We also enjoyed a ride in a POLO car.

Listening to their stories was fascinating and deeply impactful. We found that they still believe in and uphold their ancestors’ values and way of living. This visit reinforced the importance of connecting with our culture and understanding family values. It taught us that core family values can help achieve anything and reminded us of the importance of contributing to our heritage.

Meditative Experience~ UNVEILING UNSEEN PLACES

Being in Fountainhead school from many years- I have visited KG farm ample of time. The first day of life class left a profound impact on me. We were instructed to observe nature in complete silence—focusing on the trees, leaves, birds, butterflies etc. This experience of being with nature was extraordinary. I observed different shades of green and the diverse shapes of leaves.

While exploring a trail alone, I was unexpectedly accompanied by a tiny yellow butterfly. This delicate creature seemed to guide me as I delved into the intricate details of nature. I noticed how different plants coexist harmoniously in a small space, and how nature embraces all elements, regardless of their size.

I also observed various insects and birds, each moving and chirping contentedly. This realization underscored the importance of a sense of belonging for all living things.

For me, this brief trial was a deeply meditative experience.

Unveiling Unseen Places

Blog by Vipul Aariwala:

We visited 2 places during day 1 and 2 of life class. The first day was a peaceful nature walk at the K.G Farm. Yaha hum ne bhot se birds and insects dekhe aur fruits taste kiye. Day 2 of life class was an awesome experience for all of us. We visited Dholakia Farm jaha ek family ki values and culture ka wonderful combination dekhne Mila. The way all the people were connected to their roots and the behaviour they were depicting was an amazing example of legacy, respect and humanity.

Nature walk..

This year, I joined the “Unveiling Unseen Places” life classes, excited to explore new environments. Although the Summer Palace visit was canceled, an unexpected trip to KG Farm offered a unique opportunity for connection.

I visited the farm with a specific purpose: to deeply connect with nature by observing birds, plants, trees, insects, and flowers. Listening to the symphony of sounds and observing the vibrant life around me, I realized how much nature offers us. Each element, from the chirping birds to the delicate flowers, demonstrated nature’s resilience and beauty.

This visit taught me the value of reciprocity. Nature gives us tranquility, beauty, and inspiration, but it also needs our care and respect. By nurturing our environment, we ensure it continues to flourish and sustain us.

In essence, the KG Farm visit transformed a disappointment into a profound lesson about the interconnectedness of life. It reinforced the importance of respecting and caring for nature, deepening my appreciation for the natural world.
