Day 1-2 ACAD THEME (GAMMA)
First two days of life class Acad theme were filled with curious discussions. We discussed points related to our own emotional well-being as well as student well-being.
On the first day we made a timeline of our journey at FS and what were the important highs and lows which made us reflect how far we’ve come in this journey.
The activity on childhood image was also interesting where we reflected about our childhood goals and individual traits
Watching the movie ‘The Intern’ was a good experience. Connecting to the individual characters, especially Ben, to our own life made us reflect how we take care of others and how we are taken care of by other BENs.
The first two days of Life Class were a meaningful opportunity to pause and reflect on myself, both as a teacher and as an individual. The first day made me look back at my journey at FS through the highs and lows and realise how much I have grown along the way. The second day felt more personal, especially the childhood image activity, which made me reconnect with my childhood dreams and individual traits. Watching The Intern, particularly Ben’s character, also made me reflect on the people who support and care for us and how we can be there for others. Overall, the two days helped me understand myself better and appreciate my journey, relationships, and emotional well-being.
