Life Classes: 7 Habits of Highly Effective People(Day-1 and 2)

Days 1 and 2 of our Life Classes were a genuinely encouraging experience. The facilitators led with warmth, sharing their own real-life stories in a way that helped us connect the concepts to our own lives and reflect honestly. Their friendly, open approach made even the harder questions feel safe to sit with. A key takeaway was realizing how much we chase “perfection” — when really, there is no such thing. What matters instead is consistency: showing up, choosing our response, and building better habits one day at a time.

What we’ve covered so far:

  • Habit 1 – Be Proactive: Recognizing we can choose our response, even when we can’t choose the situation.
  • Habit 2 – Begin with the End in Mind: Reflecting on our “perfect life,” what’s stopping us from living it, and imagining our deathbed and last 24 hours — a reminder that people matter more than things.
  • Habit 3 – Put First Things First: Understanding the Circle of Influence vs. Circle of Concern, and choosing to focus energy where it counts.

Moments that stayed with us:

  • The “Iceberg of the Perfect Life” and paradigm-shift stories, reminding us to judge less and understand more.
  • The debate on “Can money buy happiness?” bringing out genuine, personal perspectives.

Three habits in, and these sessions have moved well beyond theory — they’ve become a space for real, sometimes uncomfortable, self-reflection. Grateful for facilitators who created that space with such care.
